Laurel View Farm, located near Templepatrick, County Antrim, is a unique family-run farm that combines traditional agriculture with a thriving equestrian centre and community-focused initiatives. Run by the Davis family, the farm is home to a herd of pedigree Irish Moiled cattle—Northern Ireland’s only native cattle breed, as well as a wide range of animals including sheep, goats and poultry. Alongside this, Laurel View has developed into a leading equestrian centre, offering riding lessons, training and competitions, and welcoming visitors of all ages and abilities to experience life with horses.
A proud participant since the very first Open Farm Weekend in 2012, Laurel View has long been committed to opening its gates and sharing farming with the wider public. Visitors can enjoy a hands-on experience, learning about rare breeds, meeting horses and farm animals, and discovering the important role farms play in supporting wellbeing and community life. As a recognised social farm, Laurel View also delivers therapeutic and inclusive programmes, using the farm environment to promote confidence, learning and connection, making it a truly welcoming and inspiring place for all who visit.
