Ballylagan is a 120-acre family farm in rural south-east Antrim, owned by Patricia and Tom Gilbert.
At the heart of the farm is its well-established organic farm shop, offering a wide range of fresh, local produce. Ballylagan produces its own beef, lamb and pork, with an on-site butchery and charcuterie, alongside home-grown vegetables and a carefully selected range of organic groceries.
Visitors can also explore two self-guided walking trails, open all year round, providing a chance to experience the farm’s landscape and wildlife. The farm also provides holiday accommodation and hosts a riding school.
One of the first farms in Northern Ireland to convert to fully organic production, Ballylagan has built a strong reputation as a destination for high-quality local food.
Ballylagan looks forward to welcoming visitors to the Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend.
