Open Friday schools day only
William and Ruth McClenaghan, together with their two children, Joe and Eva run a suckler and sheep farm in the heart of the Mournes.
They both wanted to introduce the public, to the area and show them where their food comes from. We have just this year (2024) opened a brand new goat walking trail where visitors can get up close and personal to our very friendly and characteristic goats. Visitors can walk their goats by lead on a path around our petting farm and take in the breath-taking views that the Mournes has to offer.
Discover our other animals that we have on the petting farm, get to know Isadora, our Valais blacknose Ewe, and her Son Kingston, both are extremely friendly, especially when you have a handful of treats for them!
We also have our inquisitive Horned Dorsets, together with their lambs which are crossed to a Valais black nose, you’ve got to love their wee button noses!
William has a passion for the poultry side of the farm, and you can meet his Ducks, Hens, and our resident Turkeys!! He loves to hatch out different birds throughout the year, so you could be lucky enough to see baby chicks, ducks or even turkeys on your visit.
Activities Planned include:

Meeting/Petting our sheep and poultry
