Ballycrochan Artisan is a family-run dairy farm located just outside Bangor, County Down, where visitors can experience life on a modern working farm rooted in generations of tradition. Home to the historic Ballycrochan Herd, one of Northern Ireland’s oldest pedigree Holstein Friesian herds, established in 1947, the farm produces high-quality free-range milk from cows that graze on lush grass for most of the year.
At the heart of the farm is its artisan approach, with milk gently pasteurised in small batches on-site to preserve its natural flavour and freshness. Visitors can enjoy a unique farm-to-bottle experience, including a self-service milk vending machine offering fresh milk and flavoured milkshakes, alongside locally sourced coffee and baked goods. Ballycrochan Artisan is passionate about supporting local producers, promoting sustainability through reusable glass bottles, and helping people connect with where their food comes from.
Safety Notice: For the safety of our animals and guests, we kindly ask that no dogs are brought onto the farm, except for assistance dogs. Thank you for your understanding.
