A member of Brookside Presbyterian Church in County Antrim is opening his farm as part of Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend and will host a special service on Sunday 18th June. Victor Turtle and his family run Drumrammer Farm, a dairy and sheep farm on the outskirts of Ahoghill and this is the first time they are taking part and opening their farm to the public.
Speaking ahead of the event, Victor said, “Opening my farm is something I have wanted to do for a while to allow others the chance to see how we look after the animals and how food is produced. In the past year, we have installed robots to milk the cows and they create a lot of interest from people of all ages. By taking part in Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend it is also an opportunity to share my Christian faith and provide a unique setting for a worship service and we look forward to praising God and thanking Him for all that He provides us with.”
Worship in Wellies will take place on Sunday 18th June at 5pm at 15 Drumrammer Road, Ahoghill, BT42 2RD.
