Blackberry Hill Farm, based outside Banbridge, County Down will once again be open for visitors this summer. The farm is run by Harry McGaffin and has taken part in several Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend events.

Here you will be able to meet European Angus Cattle Society Farm Beef Cattle, Jacob sheep, Alpacas, Ponies, Goats, Hens, Ducks & Geese. There will be baby chicks, goslings & ducklings for petting and pony cart rides for children! A local artist who specialises in pet portraits will be there to showcase their amazing skills.

There will also be a cookery demonstration hosted by sponsors Livestock & Meat Commission NI, supported by Food NI, along with a food and beverage stall where lots of tasty treats may be enjoyed!

Plus many more activities for all the family to enjoy!

On SUNDAY Mary’s Ark mobile zoo will stop by, so keep your eyes peeled for any other more unusual creatures!
