Blackberry Hill Farm, based outside Banbridge, County Down will once again be open for visitors this summer. The farm is run by Harry McGaffin and have taken part in several Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend events.
Harry’s son Stuart is a trained farrier and will be demonstrating live horse shoeing throughout the day. He has represented Ireland at the World Championships in Las Vegas.
There will also be baby chicks for petting, goslings, ducklings, lambs and goats – so there will be a variety of animals to see during Bank of Ireland Open Farm Weekend.
There will be sampling of delicious European Angus meat.
There will also be pony rides for children!
Blackberry Hill Farm will be open from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 16th June and Sunday 17th June.
